floor space. We now have 4 dance studios and are looking to
recruit qualified teachers for our
- Freestyle/Hip-hop classes
- Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz
classes
- Belly Dancing
- Cheerleading Squads

Qualifications for Teaching Positions
You must have experience of one or all of the
following:-
-
Learning, teaching, delivering or coaching
within one of the recognised performing examination boards (eg.
IDTA, RAD, ISTD, AAD, BBO, NATD, LAMDA, ABRSM, Trinity etc)
-
Or an Associate qualification in one of the
above
-
Attended a recognised performing arts college
(eg Laines, Birds, Millenium 2000, Tring, Rose Bruford, LIPA,
Laine, Tiffany’s, SLP, Sylvia Young, TheatreWorks, MADD etc)
-
Professional theatrical experience
- &/or
Equity membership

| At the moment, our assistants
positions are full, but please let us have your names if you are
interested in helping in our classes.
DDS students who would like some
experience of a teaching environment, or are taking
pre-associate teaching qualifications are exposed to various
levels of teaching and pupils.
Assistants play the tapes, start a
class if the teacher is talking to a parent, practice with a
small group of children whilst the teacher practices with
another group.
This is an unpaid position. The
assistants gain valuable teaching experience, class organisation
and management skills which are part of the teacher
training programme. |
